Covid-19 Policy

Covid-19 Public Policy

Updated 30th Nov 2021

We have been working hard since the outbreak of Covid 19 to help make our bakery as safe as possible for staff, customers and guests. We have followed the Health and Safety Executive risk assessments and guidance as well as completing a number of checks with guidance from the Food Standards Agency and Government publications. Below are a few resources we have utilised and will share with you if you require further reading.

At the bakery

Our bakery is predominantly a space for our staff to work with a small shop offering just inside the front door.

We pride ourselves on good hygiene practises as standard but we have stepped up the cleaning of contact points such as door handles and taps which are regularly sanitised.

At our shops/stalls

We only take card payments, contactless preferred.

We have hand sanitiser available for customers and staff.

Any staff serving customers will wear a face mask and we ask customers to do the same which is inline with current government guidance.  The exception to this is outside markets.

We politely ask customers to give each other space while queuing.

Home deliveries will be packed into compostable bags before leaving the bakery and delivery drivers will wear masks.

For workshop attendees

We have the contact details of everyone who attend our workshops contact details and keep them via our bookings system. We ask that if any attendee does experience symptoms of Covid within 14 days of attending a workshop then you let us know so we can contact all attendees. We encourage you to follow government guidelines on testing and tracing. See here for details: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/nhs-test-and-trace-how-it-works.

We are asking attendees to do a covid test in the morning before their workshop.  Any staff attending will do the same.

Every attendee will have a set of their own equipment to avoid sharing any equipment.

We ask that you wash and sanitise your hands very regularly throughout the workshop

We encourage all participants who attend workshop held inside the bakery to wear a face covering if they would feel more comfortable doing so. We ask that you provide your own. This is due to the fact that we will be in a shared space for a number of hours together.

If you have any concerns do contact us before your workshop.
